Hi,
I'm Annalise,
and I want
to take
pictures of YOU!
About me
I fell in love with photography my freshman year of highschool, when I took an introduction to photography class. After that, I signed up for every photography class my school had to offer, entered into art shows and competitions, and began offering my photography as a business. I am currently going to school for graphic design at the University of Wisconsin-Stout and expanding my photography knowledge through a photo and video minor.
Why chose Annalise Groff Photography?
These days, we all have access to some kind of camera, whether it's your phone, an easy to use digital camera, or a DSLR. So why pay someone to take your picture? The answer is, it's not all about the equipment. Almost every time I take someone's portraits, a version of this phrase is brought up before I even snap a picture. "I'm not photogenic" "I'm not a model" "Im so awkward in front of a camera" It's like we feel the need to justify why we wont' like the pictures before they have even been taken. Part of the problem is, most of the pictures of ourselves were not taken by a professional, and when we don't like the results, we blame ourselves. I believe everyone is photogenic, and my mission is to work with you to discover that side of yourself! Being in front of the camera might feel uncomfortable and awkward at first, but that's what I love! My goal is to guide you in finding your beautiful, confident photogenic self, and to produce pictures that you can be proud of.
What do I get?
Within 2-3 days of your photoshoot, you will be sent a folder of lightly edited pictures to chose from. Once your favorites are chosen, I will fine tune edit the final pictures and send a gallery to you with the final edits. You have full rights to your final photos, and can share your pictures online, print, and post any of the pictures. I greatly appreciate any tags in online sharing!
How I chose my pricing
getting pictures taken isn't cheap, and although it may seem like a relatively 'easy' job, it's not. Good photographers pour a lot into their work, and most of it is behind the scenes. However, my mission is to give every person a chance to have good, high quality portraits of themselves they can be proud of. I try to keep my prices as low as possible while continuing to produce high quality work because seeing yourself through the eyes of others is a beautiful, empowering experience. If my prices are not something you can afford, please don't hesitate to contact me! I am wiling to figure out a solution that works for you. That being said, please respect photographers and any other artist for the time and effort they put into their work.
